"I have always liked making and tinkering with things. I learned to sew around 10 years old. I got active in LARPing in my mid 20s where I made most of my own garb, including hand made chain mail.

When my daughters were born, I would either make or augment their Halloween costumes every year. I also had to make something for myself to wear each time.

In 2018, while home recovering from minor surgery, I wanted to make "Big Daddy” from Bioshock, just to see if I could do it. It was made entirely out of cardboard. My daughters wanted to join in, so I quickly made a basic “Big Sister " and "Little Sister " from the Bioshock games.

I upgraded the costumes and we won a judges award at our first big con. I've officially been into cosplay ever since.

I go by "Rojin Cosplay ". Rojin translates to “old man". I turn 56 this March 2025

My cosplays to date are: "Big Daddy, (first Bioshock), A Dalek from Dr Who, Big Sister, Little Sister and Big Daddy Delta, from Bioshock 2, Robby from "Forbidden Planet ", and the latest is Fire Knight from Raid Shadow Legends."
